Soft-Shelled Blue Crabs

Soft-Shelled Blue Crabs 12 (3.3 oz ea) If you’ve never had a soft-shelled crab, you’ve missed out on a special dining pleasure. These crabs are pulled from the Chesapeake Bay (near the historic town of Crisfield, Maryland) just prior to molting.
They’re placed in tanks and briefly held until they shed their hard outer shell. While in this soft, succulent state, they’re quickly processed and frozen – and ready to be delivered to you or to someone you’d like to send a very special dining gift. They’re excellent deep fried, sauteed, grilled or broiled.
